Welcome to St. Anne's Guild of Clothiers! We are an official guild of the Kingdom of Atlantia in the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., and are devoted to learning and teaching about the clothing arts. Our interests and skills are widely varied, but all relate to this common theme. We sponsor classes, competitions, and displays, and engage in discussions on the finer points of medieval and renaissance clothing. This is our passion, and we are here to share it. We have established this website to reflect the great members we have in the Kingdom of Atlantia, to show what they have accomplished, what the various groups around the Kingdom are wearing, and how they are putting their outfits together. As we all know, it is the details that make the outfit! If you wish to share a paper, display, demonstration, or anything else related to what we do, please contact the webminister. With education as the main focus of this group, we are moving towards a database of classes and teachers based on physical locations and "train the trainer sessions". Not only will these be associated with the Atlantia University, but hands-on classes and sessions will also be available throughout the year and in various locations across the kingdom. Another area of change will be Guild sponsored clothing competitions, hosting an annual fashion show, Symposium, other events and activites, and meetings a few times a year. To join the clothiers guild mailing list for the latest updates and information, please visit http://seahorse.atlantia.sca.org/mailman/listinfo/costumers. Thank you to everyone for your past and future service as we move to educate and help Atlantia retain its position as the "best-dressed" kingdom within the Known World!
